2025 Caveau/Royer La Paulee
Caveau / Royer La Paulee 2025
when: Friday, October 3 | 6:00 pm
where: University Club, 1225 SW 6th Ave, Portland
cost: $195 per person
The Paulée is a tradition that is centuries old, but became more widely known with the advent in 1923 of the now legendary Paulée de Meursault.
That event became the finale of the annual festivities in Burgundy known as "Les Trois Glorieuses"--The Three Days of Glory.
Our Favorite Evening of the Year returns!
Please join us at The University Club in Portland on Friday, Oct. 3rd at 6:00 pm for this year's Paulée dinner celebration!
A Paulée* (pronounced poh-lay) - one of the great traditions in the world of wine - is an evening of great food and older vintages in recognition of the end of the grape harvest. Caveau brought this great event to Oregon for the first time in 2006, and along with 60 guests, we brought it back to life again a few years ago.
There will be an hour ofhors d'oeuvres, served with a fine selection of our Champagnes and Royer Chardonnay, followed by a delicious multi-course menu. As is the tradition, you are invited to bring a bottle or two of older Burgundy or Oregon Pinot from your own cellars to share.
Our past attendees often dig deep and bring some astounding "unicorn" bottles from their cellars to share!
No matter where in the world you are today reading this, please consider joining us for Portland's coolest BYOB party for one evening in early October!
