Planted at over 600 feet of elevation on the west-side of the AVA, this exceptionally cool site is a perfect spot for our Riesling. Native fermentation, dry style, aged on its lees in neutral puncheons for 10 months. This is pure clone 49 - an Alsatian clone prominent in Trimbach’s top wines. The wine has very refined fruitiness with yellow plum, quince, green pear, lemon verbena, apricot, and tropical fruit. It is bone dry, with extraordinary minerality and powerful, racy acidity. Full body and a long, silky texture. Rich, yet pure and crystalline. 12.8% Alc.
